# Category Coefficient

### Coefficient — When Art Becomes Utility

Every Kcanther is assigned a **Coefficient**.

The Coefficient is a **reward multiplier**. It determines how each Kcanther may access future utilities as they are introduced. This trait does not affect appearance or role. It exists to extend creation into function.

A Kcanther’s Coefficient is fixed at origin and tied directly to rarity: the higher the Coefficient, the rarer and more impactful its future utility. **Details remain intentionally undisclosed**, designed to be revealed progressively through use rather than explanation.

The Coefficient is not displayed. It is encountered.

### Coefficient Rarity

The Coefficient is distributed across the collection as follows:

* **Trait** **x2** — **0.833889259506338%**
* **Trait x1.75** — **20.0133422281521%**
* **Trait x1.5** — **20.8472314876584%**
* **Trait** **x1** — **58.3055370246831%**

Higher values grant access to rarer reward conditions and exclusive mechanics.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kcanther.gitbook.io/guide/kcanther-traits-and-rarity/category-coefficient.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
